Bali Pass Trek is a thrilling high-altitude trek in the Garhwal Himalayas, connecting the Har Ki Dun Valley to the Yamunotri region. It offers breathtaking views of Swargarohini, Bandarpoonch, and Kalanag peaks, along with lush meadows, alpine lakes, and challenging ridges

Day 1 – Dehradun to Sankri, Dhatmeer

Day 2 – Sankri, Dhatmeer to Devsu Meadow

Day 1 – Dehradun to Sankri Dhatmeer Distance – 200 km Drive 

Time – 7-8 hrs

Drive through Mussoorie, Purola, and Mori along the Tons River.

Reach Sankri, the base for many treks, and stay overnight in a guesthouse.

Day 2 – Sankri to Devsu Meadow Distance – Drive 8 kms, Trek 8 kms

Time – 6-7 hrs

Drive to Gangar (trek starting point).

Trek through dense forests of pine and walnut trees along the Supin River.

Reach devsu meadow, a small settlement near Osla, and stay overnight in tents.

Day 3 – Devsu Meadow to Water fall

Distance – Trek 7 kms

Cross wooden bridges and enter the beautiful meadows of Devsu Meadow.

Day 5 – Ruinsara Tal – Odari

The trail becomes steeper with glacial moraines.

Day 6 – Odari to Bali Pass Summit descent lower Dhamni

Distance – 12 kms

Time – 8/9 hrs

Early morning ascent to Bali Pass summit (4,950m).

Witness stunning views of Bandarpoonch, Swargarohini, and Yamunotri Valley.

Steep descent to Lower Dhamni through loose rocks and ice patches.

Overnight stay in tents at Lower Dhamni.

Day 7 – Lower Dhamni  to Yamunotri to Janki Chatti to Dehradun

Distance – 9 kms trek, Drive 170kms

Time – 10/11 hrs)

Trek to Yamunotri Temple, one of the Char Dham shrines.

Descend to Janki Chatti and drive back to Dehradun, ending the trek.
